Visiting a local bakery, guests will be given a demonstration of the famous arkatena bread, made with fermented chick peas and they can also
participate in the preparations of olive pies and cheese pies.

the two basic ingredients needed for this dessert.

Activity 3: Visit of the Monastery of Stavros
The village of Omodhos, once a property of Sir John De Brie, Prince of Galilee, is home to the Monastery of Stavros, ‘Holly Cross’, which stands in
the stone-paved square. The monastery contains old icons, excellent wood carvings and other ecclesiastical objects of interest, as well as a small National Museum.

Activity 4: Wine tasting

liqueurs: a selection of white and red wines, the famous Commandaria dessert wine and of course Zivania.

delicious local specialty and can even try it during their meal.

Optional Activity 6: Dance Class
A dance class can be arranged for our guests. This takes place at one of the coffee shops of the square where instructors will entertain our group and teach them how to dance the famous Zorba syrtaki dance.

Our guests will enjoy their meal at a local tavern. They will sit down and be spoiled to a mezze feast containing more than twenty traditional dishes. For dessert, the famous shoushoukos will be served among other Cypriot delights.

After lunch, visitors can stroll around the village’s winding streets and mingle with the locals, walk around for some shopping at the various small
