Radisson Hotel Group announced the opening of Belgrade Art Hotel, a member of Radisson Individuals, located in the heart of the old city. This opening marks the debut of the Radisson Individuals brand, a conversion solution recently launched in Europe in Q4 2020, and complements the existing Radisson Collection Hotel in Serbia’s flourishing capital city.
Belgrade Art Hotel, a member of Radisson Individuals offers 55 rooms and suites including a luxury presidential suite. The hotel is filled with creative energy, featuring paintings from local artists and overlooks the upscale Knez Mihailova Street. Hotel guests will benefit from a wide range of guest services, including access to a wellness center with complimentary use of a sauna and on-site parking. The Restaurant Mosaic offers both Mediterranean and local fine dining cuisine prepared from quality products, while the bar serves morning coffees and delicious original Belgium waffles. The hotel’s conference center features two rooms located on the first and ninth floor with natural lighting and air conditioning. The space at the top floor can accommodate up to 90 guests and boasts a terrace overlooking the Old city, ideal for hosting a variety of meetings and gatherings.
Yilmaz Yildirimlar, Area Senior Vice President, Central & Eastern Europe, Russia and Turkey at Radisson Hotel Group, said: “We are very excited to announce our Group´s second hotel in Belgrade, a city of contrasts and culture, which makes this destination a must-see and place to stay. We created Radisson Individuals in response to the evolving demands of the new market realities for both hotel owners and guests, and it is the perfect addition to our exceptional umbrella of brands to expand our footprint in the South-East Europe market. The new brand offers guests an opportunity to discover this vibrant and historic city while experiencing our high standards of Yes I Can! service and hospitality”.
The Belgrade Art Hotel, a member of Radisson Individuals is owned by the Todorovic family, a Serbian family well known in the local fashion industry. They have transferred their insight and expertise in understanding the needs and wishes of the modern guest from the fashion industry to the hotel industry, delighting guests with a touch of modern art combined with personal characters to make this hotel one of the most popular addresses in town. Located in the center of Belgrade in the city’s pedestrian zone, Belgrade Art Hotel, a member of Radisson Individuals allows guests the privilege of staying at the only hotel on the capital’s main street, steps away from landmarks such as the Belgrade Fortress, or variety of churches, where every chapel tells its own history.
Vladimir Todorovic, General Manager of The Belgrade Art Hotel, a member of Radisson Individuals, added: “Joining Radisson Hotel Group as a member of Radisson Individuals represents a big step forward for Belgrade Art Hotel, after 11 years of operating as a fully independent family-run hotel. We believe this affiliation will be a recipe for future success, by incorporating standards and practices of a world-renowned hotel chain into our Belgrade property”.
Belgrade (“White Fortress”) can undoubtedly be described as one of Europe’s trendiest cities: Situated at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, it boasts a fascinating mix of Byzantine architecture, art nouveau gems and brutalist buildings. The city with its Balkan flair has become a lively, exciting and cool European center for culture and nightlife: Belgrade’s theaters, museums, monuments and opera houses show off the rich cultural heritage of the city, while sunbathers and sports enthusiasts flock to the rivers, as do partygoers on the popular floating nightclubs.
