November 12, 2021 – Latest requirements for travel in Costa Rica entry requirement
Costa Rica has no entry requirements for vaccinated passengers and passengers under 18 years (non-vaccinated passengers need to buy travel insurance).
But from 8 January 2022, all passengers aged 12 and over will have to show proof of vaccination when entering hotels, restaurants, museums and adventure facilities, among others. Vaccines recognized in Costa Rica include Moderna, Pfizer, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson.
