Expanding its presence in Latin America, Iberostar Hotels & Resorts is set to open its first hotel in the Lima city centre. Opening October 1, Iberostar Selection Miraflores will be the first plastic-free hotel in the Peruvian capital and will put an emphasis on local produce and flavors to support the environment as well as the local community.
The 18-floor five-star hotel’s design is inspired by the Pacaya Samiria nature reserve. The rooms allow guests to enjoy the city environment with views of the boardwalk. The hotel also features a new concept, Cosmos Level, offering exclusive spaces, along with other benefits such as a concierge service and private meeting rooms.
Peruvian gastronomy will be one of the highlights of the hotel served in specialty restaurants Ortega & Huamán and Tapería 27 Tapas, both overseen by local chef Carlos Testino. Rounding out the amenities is a rooftop on the 18th floor, featuring an infinity pool with panoramic views of almost the entire city, the ocean and the sunsets.
