Marriott Macau

December 29, 2021 – Marriott International has announced plans to bring the W brand to Macau.

W Macau Studio City, a development in partnership with Melco Resorts & Entertainment, is scheduled to open in December 2022.

Located on the Cotai Strip, the W Macau will be part of Studio City Phase 2, a multi-complex development that includes indoor and outdoor water parks, cineplexes and convention, event and meeting facilities.

Plans for the hotel call for 557 guestrooms (including 127 suites), a spa, a fitness center, an indoor swimming pool, and more than 3,600 square feet of event and meeting space.

The hotel will also feature two restaurants and a W Sound Suite, the brand’s signature recording studio.
Marriott International currently operates nine W properties across Greater China.

Hong Kong-headquartered Melco Resorts & Entertainment is a developer, owner and operator of integrated resort facilities in Asia and Europe, including the Altira Macau and City of Dreams in Macau. The company also is the majority owner and operator of the Studio City resort complex.
