Travelers will also get captivated by the magnificent panoramic view of the beautiful city. On the second day, head toward an excursion to the Thai Elephant Conservation Center (*). Then, discover the magnificent Wat Phra That Lampang Luang. One of the oldest Lanna temples (**) in the Chiang Mai area, it is said to house various relics gathered after Buddha’s cremation. In the afternoon, visit a ceramic factory and stop at Baan Pin village to observe the cotton weaving process. Upon arrival in Phrae, take a pedicab ride through the narrow streets of the old city surrounded by a moat.
