April 28, 2022, MOCST agrees with the proposal of Binh Thuan province to host the Visit Vietnam Year 2023
Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh – Chairman of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) also attended the meeting.
Informing about the Visit Vietnam Year, Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh said that it is a typical cultural – economic – social event in national and international scale, as well as the largest annual tourism event of Vietnam’s tourism industry, held in many provinces and cities of Vietnam.
On February 16, 2022, Binh Thuan Province proposed to host the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 with the theme “Binh Thuan – green convergence”.
Recently, Binh Thuan has become one of the emerging localities, a bright spot to attract tourists. The province has experience in successfully organizing many national and international tourism events such as International Hot air balloon Festival, Miss Ocean contest, International Sailing Festival, International Windsurfing tournament…
Up to now, the province’s tourism infrastructure has been invested and developed strongly. The province has 594 accommodation establishments with a total of 17,587 rooms; many large-scale tourism projects such as Sea Links Beach Hotel, Anantara Mui Ne Beach Resort, Novaworld Phan Thiet, Centara, Apec Mandala Wyndham Mui Ne…
The province has a transportation system along the coast, connecting coastal tourist destinations with urban areas, creating favorable conditions for tourism development. Currently, Binh Thuan’s tourism workforce has about 22,300 people, about 70-80% have undergone training and retraining, basically meeting the needs of customer service.
