Croatia Directly Connected to 122 Exciting Cities this Summer

This summer, Croatia isn’t just dipping its toes into tourism—it’s doing a cannonball. From late March through October, the country’s skies will be packed tighter than a beach bar during happy hour. We’re talking over 17,000 flights, 2 million+ seats, and approximately zero chances of finding a quiet beach without a plane flying over it. If you thought Dubrovnik couldn’t get busier, think again.

Flights, Flights Everywhere

Got a passport and a swimsuit? Great—you’re practically halfway to Croatia already. The country is now linked to a whopping 122 international destinations in 42 different countries, which is basically airline code for “you’ve run out of excuses.” Whether you’re flying in from London, Munich, Vienna, or Belgium chances are there’s a seat waiting with your name on it.

And it’s not just short-haul city hoppers. Oh no—Croatia’s got the long-haul love too. Direct routes now include New York, Toronto, Seoul, Doha, and Dubai, so you can go from skyscrapers to seaside in a single flight (plus one jet-lagged selfie and a neck pillow you’ll never use again).

Who’s Piloting This Party?

With 54 airlines jumping on the Croatia summer train (well, plane), it’s looking more like an aviation convention than a holiday season. Ryanair, of course, is leading the charge, possibly fueled entirely by espresso and ambition. easyJet, Eurowings, Lufthansa, and Croatia Airlines are also in on the action, making sure every corner of the EU gets a shot at that Adriatic magic.

The airports doing the heavy lifting? That would be the ultimate tourist trifecta: Zagreb, Split, and Dubrovnik. Think of them as the holy trinity of “please let my suitcase be the first on the belt” energy.

Croatia is Just Collecting Routes at This Point

Apparently, Croatia took a look at its already bustling air traffic and said, “More.” Over 40 shiny new routes are being added, and they’ve even tossed €3 million into airline partnerships to make it all happen. If destinations were Pokémon, Croatia is basically trying to catch ’em all.

So whether you’re dreaming of flying from Bergen, Brussels, or the bustling beauty of Bucharest, chances are there’s a new connection making that dream a reality. And probably with better snacks than the last flight you took.

Summer Goals: Maxed Out

With a 2% increase in flights from last year, Croatia is going full throttle into Summer 2025. They’re not just welcoming tourists—they’re airlifting them in by the millions. The goal? Sun-drenched coastlines, booming local businesses, and more Instagram photos of turquoise water than anyone could possibly scroll through.

Even the shoulder seasons are getting some love, with more flights in the early spring and late autumn. Translation? You might just score a beach holiday without having to elbow your way through a crowd of honeymooners, cruise passengers, and that one guy with a drone.

Bottom Line: Book the Flight, Pack the Sunscreen

Whether you’re chasing sunsets in Split, seafood in Zadar, or just want to say you’ve been to Dubrovnik because Game of Thrones, Croatia is making it incredibly easy to get there. With thousands of flights, millions of seats, and probably one too many passengers who forgot to take their sunscreen out of their carry-on, it’s shaping up to be a scorcher of a season.

So grab your flip-flops, dig out your passport, and let Croatia’s sky-high summer plans carry you straight to the coast. Just don’t forget to hydrate—you’ll need it after 17,200 flights’ worth of passengers descend on paradise.
