Straight to the Jungle, No Fuss Required
Starting March 2025, Azul will launch a direct flight from São Paulo’s Viracopos Airport to Alta Floresta, meaning you can skip the travel headache and fast-track your way to the Amazon. Once you land, it’s just a hop, skip, and a scenic ride to Cristalino Lodge—a place where the Wi-Fi is questionable, but the wildlife encounters are guaranteed.
Three Flights a Week, All Adventure, No Layovers
Azul is rolling out this new route on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, with a 12:55 PM departure from São Paulo that gets you into Alta Floresta by 2:50 PM. Just enough time to stretch your legs, adjust to the rainforest humidity, and possibly spot a toucan before dinner.
And when it’s time to swap the jungle’s soundtrack for the familiar sounds of car horns and construction, the return flight leaves at 3:35 PM, landing back in São Paulo at 7:30 PM—plenty of time to reintroduce yourself to streetlights and reliable cell service.
Why Choose Between the Amazon and the Pantanal? Do Both!
For those who believe that one natural wonder is never enough, Azul has good news. Flights between Cuiabá and Alta Floresta are still going strong on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, meaning you can effortlessly combine the wildlife-packed Pantanal with the raw beauty of the Amazon. Think of it as Brazil’s ultimate two-for-one nature experience.
So, if you’ve ever dreamed of trading concrete for canopies and skyscrapers for towering trees, now’s your moment. Book your flight, embrace the adventure, and prepare to be woken up by the calls of exotic birds instead of your alarm clock. The Amazon is waiting!
