Iberia launches non-stop flights from Madrid to Ljubljana 2024
The Iberian Group is happy that it has finally launched its new direct flights from Madrid to Ljubljana. This will give more than 2500 sits over the summer to the charming Slovenian capital. It will fly twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Flight Details
Aircraft: The route will be operated by Air Nostrum’s Canadair Regional Jet 1000 which has 100 seats in a 2-2 configuration across 25 rows.
Schedule: Iberia’s website and various travel agencies are now accepting bookings.
Inaugural Flight: The inaugural flight , IB8666, took off from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport at 12:10 PM local time and landed at Jože Pučnik Airport at 2:40 PM Slovenian time. It was greeted with a traditional water arch and key figures such as Robert Latin (Director General of Air and Maritime Transport at Slovenia’s Ministry of Infrastructure) and Janez Lapajne (Sales and Marketing Manager at Fraport Slovenija).
