Qatar Airways Boosts Americas Network with 2 Bold New Flights
Because apparently the only thing spreading faster than avocado toast is Qatar Airways’ global network.
Ready or not, Toronto and São Paulo—Qatar Airways is coming in hot. The airline just announced it’s dialing up its flight frequencies to both cities, and frankly, your travel excuses are running out faster than overhead bin space in economy. Starting this summer, expect more options, more flexibility, and more opportunities to say, “Yeah, I just flew in from Doha—no big deal.”

Toronto: From “Nice to Meet You” to “See You Every Other Day”
Just six months after landing its first flight in Toronto, Qatar Airways has decided that once in a while simply isn’t enough. Beginning June 19, 2025, they’re going from a minimal schedule to five weekly flights into Toronto Pearson International. That’s Wednesdays through Sundays for those already dreaming up long weekends with a side of maple syrup.
And if you think five flights is generous, wait for winter. Daily flights kick off later in 2025, because apparently Toronto + Doha = new long-distance relationship goals.
Summer Schedule:
- Doha to Toronto (QR767): Departs 08:10, arrives 15:00
- Toronto to Doha (QR768): Departs 21:00, arrives 16:40
Winter Schedule (for overachievers):
- Doha to Toronto (QR767): Departs 08:25, arrives 14:40
- Toronto to Doha (QR768): Departs 20:10, arrives 16:55
That’s more time zone hopping, more business connections, and more chances to confuse your internal clock. But hey—worth it.
São Paulo: Because Brazil Deserves Bonus Flights Too
Not to be outdone, São Paulo is also getting a flight frequency facelift. Starting June 25, 2025, Qatar Airways will bump up its service from 14 to 17 flights a week. That’s more than two flights a day. Brazil’s biggest city is getting VIP treatment, and we’re here for it.
Extra flights will run on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Perfect for spontaneous samba weekends or that very important “business meeting” that also includes caipirinhas on Copacabana.
New São Paulo Schedule:
- Doha to São Paulo (QR785): Departs 00:10, arrives 09:00
- São Paulo to Doha (QR786): Departs 10:30, arrives 06:45
More flights = more reasons to escape the office. You’re welcome.
LATAM Partnership: Because Who Doesn’t Love Free Connections?
Qatar Airways isn’t just handing out more flights—it’s also doubling down on its partnership with LATAM Airlines. This match made in air travel heaven connects you to over 55 destinations across Latin America. Want to hop from São Paulo to Santiago? Done. Fancy a detour to Buenos Aires or Lima? Easy.
Basically, if South America was a buffet, Qatar Airways just gave you a VIP pass and an extra-large plate.
Still the Cool Kid on the Aviation Block
Let’s not forget, Qatar Airways was recently crowned “World’s Best Airline” for the eighth time (yes, EIGHT) by Skytrax. They’re like the Beyoncé of the skies—consistent, glamorous, and always booked.
Throw in the award-winning Hamad International Airport, which boasts world-class shopping and was named “World’s Best Airport” multiple times, and your layover might just become the highlight of the trip.
Bottom Line:
Qatar Airways is making it harder than ever to say, “There’s just no good way to get there.” With more flights to Toronto and São Paulo, plus seamless connections across the Americas, your 2025 travel plans just got a major upgrade.
Next stop: the world.
