Malaysia Airlines and Air Mauritius recently announced that they would resume their codeshare agreement. This provides travellers with more options for connectivity across major regions such as Asia, Australia, and Africa. In fact, the new tie-up ensures easier access between Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 1 (KUL) and Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (MRU).

- Codeshare Advantages: The revived relationship allows Malaysia Airlines to use the code “MH” while Air Mauritius will be represented by “MK” on selected flights. For passengers, this means more possibilities and simplified movement.
- Expanded Network: As such customers can fly direct from KUL to MRU with Malaysia Airlines. Besides enabling leisure trips to Mauritius, this unlocks connectivity to places like Johannesburg South Africa (JNB) via Air Mauritius.
