Lufthansa Group unveils Exciting Winter 2025/26 flight schedule

If your idea of a perfect winter includes hot chocolate, snow-covered mountains, and a spontaneous trip to Tokyo or the Seychelles—then great news: the Lufthansa Group just dropped its Winter 2025/26 flight schedule like it’s the season’s hottest new Netflix show.

The group’s star-studded cast—Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, SWISS, Brussels Airlines, Eurowings, and Discover Airlines—have all signed on for a winter full of shiny new routes, upgraded cabins, and just enough chaos to keep things interesting. Flights kick off from October 26, and you can already book your seat before that one indecisive friend ruins your travel plans.

Lufthansa: A350s, Allegris, and a Cabin Makeover That Would Impress Marie Kondo

Let’s start with the headliner: Lufthansa. This winter, they’re giving their long-haul fleet a makeover with the sleek new Allegris cabins, because apparently, even airplanes deserve spa days. The upgrade covers every cabin class—from Economy (where your knees may now rejoice) to First Class (where you basically get a hotel suite in the sky).

And they’re not being shy about it. Ten fancy Airbus A350-900s with Allegris are flying out of Munich daily to the likes of New York (both JFK and Newark, because Lufthansa doesn’t pick sides), Chicago, Miami, Tokyo, Cape Town, and Shanghai. Bengaluru gets three weekly flights, which is perfect if you’re craving sunshine and tech startups.

Meanwhile, Frankfurt gets in on the glam with Allegris debuting on the Boeing 787-9 and those big, beautiful 747-8s (the ones that look like they belong in a museum but still rock the skies).

Lufthansa’s also keeping some summer newcomers—Bydgoszcz (Poland) and Oradea (Romania)—through winter. Oh, and the Airbus A380 is sticking around in Munich for its greatest hits tour to LA, San Francisco, Bangkok, and Delhi, because passengers love it and so do the flight crews (and frankly, we all enjoy walking upstairs mid-flight just because we can).

Austrian Airlines: Moving Milan, Doubling Down on Bangkok

Austrian Airlines is channeling their inner travel influencer by increasing flights from Vienna to Bangkok to up to twice daily—perfect for those who prefer pad thai over strudel in January.

And for anyone tired of dragging themselves across Milan’s endless airport hallways, good news: Austrian is switching flights from Malpensa to the much more central Linate Airport, aka Milan’s version of “actually convenient.”

They’re also expanding Innsbruck’s international menu, now offering flights to Amsterdam, in addition to Brussels, Warsaw, and Copenhagen. So yes, your ski trip just got some extra culture baked in.

SWISS: Eastern Europe and Alpine Access for the Ski-Happy

SWISS is focusing on Eastern Europe and snow-chasers. Routes to Krakow, Cluj-Napoca, and Košice return like seasonal favorites, and Washington D.C. gets added back to Zurich’s long-haul list—because nothing says winter quite like Swiss precision meeting Capitol Hill gridlock.

Out of Geneva, they’re boosting flights to Ireland, the UK, and Scandinavia, mostly to accommodate the incoming flood of people who just realized the Swiss Alps > any Zoom background.

Brussels Airlines: All In on Africa

Brussels Airlines is quietly becoming the go-to airline if your travel bucket list includes West Africa. They’re adding more flights to Togo, Senegal, Guinea, Liberia, Ghana, and Sierra Leone—basically reinforcing their title as Lufthansa Group’s African network MVP.

Eurowings: Turning Berlin into a Desert Gateway

Eurowings is feeling fancy. This winter, they’ll fly three times a week to Abu Dhabi from Berlin, making it the capital’s third long-haul destination after Dubai and Jeddah. Berlin–Dubai also gets a frequency boost (up to 11 times a week), probably because Berliners realized it’s warmer there.

Plus: HanoverDubai, StuttgartJeddah, and new Marsa Alam flights from Cologne, Hamburg, and Berlin. Basically, if there’s sun involved, Eurowings is taking you there.

Discover Airlines: Seychelles and Snow in the Same Schedule

Last but not least, Discover Airlines is really living up to its name. This winter, they’re launching direct flights from Frankfurt to the Seychelles—because yes, you do deserve that tropical escape after surviving German winter.

Other highlights? MunichPunta Cana (sun, rum, done) and a chilly new route to Alta, Norway, for those who enjoy snowflakes and Northern Lights more than sunburn and sand.

Bottom line? Lufthansa Group’s winter schedule is stacked. Whether you’re chasing sun, snow, schnitzel, or a better seat in business class, they’ve got you covered—Allegris and all.
