As spring slowly arrives, Brussels Airport is gearing up for a vibrant summer season starting March 31, featuring both beloved sunny spots and exciting new destinations. This summer, travellers can choose from an impressive 178 direct routes operated by 64 airlines. The airport is broadening its horizons with 8 new destinations, including Singapore, Shanghai, Nairobi, Bergen, Krakow, Bari, Bacău, Gazipaşa, and Brive.

Brussels Airport’s summer lineup promises something for every traveller, whether you’re venturing beyond Europe, planning a city escape, craving a beachside retreat, or reconnecting with loved ones overseas. With 64 airlines, including six newcomers, offering a total of 178 direct destinations, this summer’s options are truly diverse and enticing.

Key Highlights at Brussels Airport:
– Summer season kicks off on March 31 with 178 direct routes by 64 airlines.
– New destinations: Singapore, Shanghai, Nairobi, Bergen, Krakow, Bari, Bacău, Gazipaşa, Brive.
– Six new airlines to join, such as Singapore Airlines, Juneyao Airlines, and Hainan Airlines.
– Brussels Airlines introduces Nairobi and Krakow routes; fleet expansion includes new A330-300 and A320neo aircraft.
– United Airlines adds extra daily flight to Newark; Air Canada and Air Transat boost Toronto and Montreal service.
– Air Arabia enhances Moroccan offerings with two new destinations.
– Long-haul network expands to 37 destinations: 6 in North America, 3 in Central America, 9 in Sub-Saharan Africa, 4 in Gulf region, 5 in Asia.

New Airlines and Services:
This summer, Brussels Airport welcomes six new airlines to its roster. Singapore Airlines will launch direct flights to Singapore starting April 6, while Juneyao Airlines and Hainan Airlines will offer daily connections to Shanghai. Cyprus Airways, Wideroe, Amelia, and Wizz Air will also contribute to the airport’s expanded network.

Brussels Airlines is adding Nairobi and Krakow to its summer routes, serving a total of 88 destinations with an expanded fleet. Transavia plans to station an additional aircraft at Brussels Airport.

United Airlines is doubling its daily flights to Newark, and both Air Canada and Air Transat are increasing service to Toronto and Montreal.

Air Arabia is adding Tetouan and Rabat to its Moroccan destinations, raising the total to seven.
