Qatar Airways Exciting New Summer 2025 Schedule

Qatar Airways Exciting New Summer 2025 Schedule With Flights, Upgrades, and Goodbyes

Qatar Airways is back at it—rearranging its summer schedule like a DJ remixing a classic hit. Whether it’s adding flights, swapping aircraft, or quietly ghosting some routes, the airline is making sure that Summer 2025 (March 30 – October 25) will keep travellers guessing. If you love last-minute surprises, this one’s for you!

More Flights, More Choices, and More Double-Deckers

Let’s start with the good news—Qatar Airways is going all in on several popular destinations. If you love options (and who doesn’t?), here’s what’s in store:

  • Bangkok is getting an upgrade, with flights increasing from 35 to 38 per week from June through September. And for those who appreciate a grand entrance, 10 of those flights will be on the legendary Airbus A380—a flying palace in the sky.
  • Nice is getting, well, nicer! Instead of four flights per week, Qatar Airways is boosting its service to daily flights to the French Riviera. Because nothing says summer like sipping rosé on the Côte d’Azur.
  • Phuket keeps its 14 weekly flights, dodging a planned reduction. Seems like someone at HQ really wanted their beach holiday secured.
  • London Gatwick flyers, rejoice! From July 16, both daily flights will be on the swanky Boeing 787-9, offering a smoother, more comfortable ride.

And that’s not all—Frankfurt, Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City are also getting a flight frequency boost, proving once again that Qatar Airways refuses to sit still.

Plane Swaps: Bigger, Smaller, or Just Different?

Qatar Airways loves to mix things up, and this season is no exception. Some routes are getting upgraded aircraft, while others are seeing a little downsizing. Here are the highlights:

  • Algiers moves up in the world with the larger Airbus A330-300. More seats, more legroom, and a better chance of scoring an empty row.
  • Zurich travellers might get a treat with the A350-1000 making occasional appearances, because Swiss precision deserves Qatari luxury.
  • Denpasar (Bali) will experience a game of aircraft musical chairs, starting with a 787-8 before upgrading to a 777-300ER in June. Perfect for stretching out after a yoga retreat.
  • Isfahan returns to the map with twice-weekly flights from August 1, operated by the Airbus A320. It’s not the biggest, but hey, it gets you there!

Now for the Not-So-Great News…

Not all routes are winners this time around. Some destinations are getting trimmed down, and others are disappearing altogether. Here’s what’s on the chopping block:

  • Belgrade, Copenhagen, Geneva, and Osaka are seeing frequency reductions, so travellers in these cities might want to lock in their seats early.
  • Paris and Rome are getting slight downgrades, possibly to make space for all those extra Bangkok flights. Priorities, people.

And the biggest disappointment?

  • No extra flights for New York or Los Angeles. If you were hoping for an extra daily flight to JFK or that much-hyped increase to 14 weekly flights to LAX, sorry—Qatar Airways just isn’t feeling it this year.
  • Lyon and Mersin? Gone. The airline has officially pulled the plug on these routes. Blink and you missed them.

What’s the Verdict? Qatar Airways Keeps Travelers on Their Toes

If you’ve booked a Qatar Airways flight for summer 2025, you might want to double-check your itinerary. You could be flying on a bigger plane, a smaller plane, or—if luck isn’t on your side—no plane at all.

One thing’s for sure: Qatar Airways knows how to keep things interesting. Whether it’s adding flights, upgrading aircraft, or saying goodbye to select routes, the airline is making sure there’s never a dull moment in the skies!

London Gatwick

London Gatwick expands its network with over 20 New Carriers

London Gatwick expands its network with over 20 New Carriers

Move over, Heathrow—Gatwick is stealing the spotlight.

London Gatwick (LGW), the UK’s second-busiest airport, has been racking up new airline partnerships like a collector hunting for rare stamps. With over 20 new and returning carriers joining the line-up since 2023, the airport is proving to be a major player for airlines looking for a London base—without the stress (or sky-high costs) of Heathrow.

The latest headline-grabber? Gulf Air is landing at Gatwick in March 2025, giving travellers an alternative link between London and Bahrain. If you’ve ever tried squeezing a last-minute booking into Heathrow’s congested schedules, this is your lucky break.

Need help with groups and incentives in London? Contact this fantastic DMC.

Gulf Air Takes Off at Gatwick: Bahrain Flights Start March 2025

Gulf Air’s big debut at Gatwick is set for March 30, 2025, as part of the airline’s expansion strategy. While it’s keeping its existing double-daily Heathrow flights, the new Gatwick service gives passengers more flexibility—and more options for connecting beyond Bahrain.

New Route Details:

Bahrain (BAH) – Gatwick (LGW)
GF9: 01:45 – 06:55 (7h 10m)
GF10: 11:25 – 20:00 (6h 35m)

Operating three times a week on the sleek Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, this new route will cater to travellers heading to the Middle East, South Asia, and beyond.

Why Airlines Are Choosing Gatwick Over Heathrow

It’s no secret that Heathrow’s slot availability is tighter than a packed tube train at rush hour. With steep fees and intense competition for landing rights, many airlines are rethinking their London strategy—and Gatwick is rolling out the red carpet.

Since 2023, more than 20 airlines have launched or resumed operations at LGW. Some highlights:

Recent Airline Arrivals at Gatwick:
2025: Gulf Air, Kenya Airways
2024: Air Peace, Atlantic Airways, flyErbil, Iberia Express, ITA Airways, SkyAlps, Uzbekistan Airlines, Turkmenistan Airlines
2023: Air China, Air India, Air Mauritius, Azerbaijan Airlines, China Eastern, China Southern, Delta Air Lines, Ethiopian Airlines, Norse Atlantic, Saudia, SKY express, UR Airlines, Volotea

Why airlines are making the switch:

  • Blocked from Heathrow expansion? Gatwick welcomes you with open arms (e.g., Gulf Air, Kenya Airways).
  • First time flying to the UK? Start at LGW (e.g., Air Peace).
  • Want to save money? Gatwick’s lower costs are a game-changer (e.g., Air Mauritius, ITA Airways).
  • Have a niche audience? Gatwick embraces specialty airlines (e.g., flyErbil, SkyAlps).

Kenya Airways Returns to Gatwick After Two Decades

Another big name making a Gatwick comeback? Kenya Airways is resuming flights from Nairobi (NBO) to LGW on July 2, 2025, after more than 20 years away.

Kenya Airways UK Service Expansion:

  • Heathrow: 7 weekly flights
  • Gatwick: 3 weekly flights (new)

Not Every Airline Stays Forever—But Gatwick Keeps Growing

Of course, not every airline sticks around. In recent years, Gatwick has said goodbye to Azores Airlines, Bamboo Airways, and Lufthansa, and Scoot pulled its Singapore-Bangkok-Gatwick route in 2022. But the airport isn’t slowing down.

In fact, British Airways and Norse Atlantic are set to launch Bangkok flights from Gatwick in 2025—a first for the airport and a sign that long-haul demand is booming.

The Future of Gatwick’s Airline Boom

As London’s aviation landscape shifts, Gatwick is carving out its place as a top-tier alternative to Heathrow. The airport’s lower costs, greater slot flexibility, and expanding international routes make it an attractive option for airlines and travellers alike.

With demand surging for Middle East, Asia, and Africa connectivity, expect even more big airline announcements in the coming years. Whether you’re jetting off to Bahrain, Nairobi, or beyond, Gatwick is proving it’s the London airport to watch.

So, Heathrow may still be the king—but Gatwick? It’s the rising star.

LATAM Expands Exciting Qantas Codeshare Agreement 2025

LATAM Expands Exciting Qantas Codeshare Agreement 2025

LATAM Expands Exciting Qantas Codeshare Agreement 2025

For anyone who’s stared blankly at a world map and wondered, “How do I go from São Paulo to the heart of Australia without getting hopelessly lost?” – here’s some good news! LATAM Expands Exciting Qantas Codeshare Agreement 2025 which makes it a whole lot easier for South American travellers to visit some of the most breath-taking Australia regions.

From late February 2025, you will be able to purchase a single LATAM ticket that will not only get you to Sydney or Melbourne, but also to other international destinations like Cairns, Darwin, and even Singapore. That means no more worrying about flight-booking Sudoku or the risk of your suitcase deciding to take a spontaneous vacation.

Need help planning group and incentives in Australia? Contact this fantastic DMC.

More Route Options, Less Hassle

As a result of this joint venture, LATAM travellers can now conveniently connect to their travel plans to Australia through:

Domestic Routes in Australia:

  • Melbourne – Alice Springs (Perfect for the Outback dreamers who wish to spot kangaroos in their natural habitat)
  • Melbourne – Cairns (Australia’s Great Barrier Reef and beaches await)
  • Melbourne – Darwin (Where the croc population exceeds humans and jaw-dropping sunsets take the cake)
  • Melbourne – Devonport and Launceston (Tasmania has the best wine, wildness, and cutest wombats)
  • Melbourne – Mildura (The Outback representation of Australia in Victoria)
  • Sydney – Alice Springs and Darwin (because more desert means more fun)

International Route:

  • Melbourne – Singapore (Everything tastes better with a Michelin starred streetfood for layover)
What Makes This Exciting

Before, LATAM flyers to Australia had it tough. If you wanted to go to Alice Springs or Cairns, separate flights would need to be booked after the initial “landing” in Sydney or Melbourne. Now, it’s as easy as a single booking. Reserve a ticket from Santiago to Sydney, and then hop onto a connecting flight to Cairns. No hassles, no waiting.

For business travellers, gaining access to key area such as Darwin – which is booming in mining and government – and Tasmania – which is known for luxury retreats and award-winning artisanal cheese – is now easier. For more adventurous souls, it is an opportunity to experience everything Australia has to offer beyond Bondi Beach and the fruit covered laneways of Melbourne.

The Airline Trend That’s Changing Everything

This is still part of the larger picture of a trend in the aviation industry: why fly everywhere yourself when you could partner with someone else. Rather than using older models of launching costly new routes, LATAM and Qantas are joining a growing number of airlines expanding their networks through intelligent collaboration.

What does this mean for travellers?

  • An abundance of flight routes under a single ticket.
  • No more baggage transfer hassles.
  • Better odds of cheaper prices (more competition = lower prices).

With LATAM trying to establish a stronger presence, and Qantas already dominating the regional market, this is only the beginning. Perhaps Brisbane and Perth will be next?

What is certain for now, is that traveling from South America to Australia is significantly easier now. And what better way to celebrate than with a flat white in Melbourne, or a Tim Tam in Darwin?

For now, one thing’s for sure: getting from South America to Australia just became a whole lot simpler. And if that’s not worth celebrating with a flat white in Melbourne or a Tim Tam in Darwin, what is?

So, whether you’re off to dive the Great Barrier Reef, chase kangaroos in the Outback, or just figure out why Australians insist on calling every friend “mate,” this expanded codeshare is your golden ticket. Pack your bags, brush up on your Aussie slang, and get ready for an adventure—because Australia just got a whole lot closer!

Bold Summer 2025 Expansion for Air India

Bold Summer 2025 Expansion for Air India: More Flights, Fancier Seats, and a Few Unexpected Breaks

More routes, bigger planes, and just a couple of “we’ll be back soon” signs

Just when you thought Air India had already covered every possible flight path, they’ve decided that more is more. For Summer 2025, they’re cranking up their flight schedule across the UK, Europe, Asia, and Africa—because apparently, their passengers have an insatiable need to collect passport stamps.

Starting March 30, 2025, Air India is rolling out extra flights, upgrading some planes (finally!), and—because no airline announcement is complete without a little drama—putting a few routes on temporary pause. Let’s dive into the highlights.

Need help planning groups and incentives in Europe? Contact one of these fantastic DMCs.

More Flights, More Fun (and Hopefully More Legroom)

UK: Because One London Flight Is Never Enough

  • Delhi–London Heathrow: Scheduled to increase from 21 to 24 flights weekly. Quite a number of arrivals at Heathrow’s Terminal 2.
  • Amritsar–Birmingham: Better still, these markets will also be having one additional flight, making it 4 flights weekly, which is helpful for anyone trying to explain Punjabi cuisine to the bewildered locals.
  • Amritsar–London Gatwick: Increased from 3 to 4 weekly flights. Increased opportunities at landing at Gatwick and then wishing you were at Heathrow.
  • Ahmedabad–London Gatwick: Now with 5 weekly flights instead of 3. If you’re inclined to a very short flight but extremely long shuttle ride to and from the airport, look no further than Gatwick.

Europe: More Excuses to Visit Vienna and Stockpile Swiss Chocolate

  • Delhi–Zurich: Increasing from 4 to 5 flights a week—one extra opportunity to smuggle duty-free Toblerone home.
  • Delhi–Vienna: Bumping up from 3 to 4 weekly flights, making spontaneous weekend getaways to Austria totally justifiable.

Asia: Bigger Planes, Bigger Plans

  • Delhi–Seoul (Incheon): Expanding from 4 to 5 weekly flights—perfect for anyone deep into their K-drama phase.
  • Delhi–Hong Kong: Upgraded to a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, meaning comfier seats, fewer crying babies, and a fully functional in-flight screen (hopefully).

Africa: Safari, Anyone?

  • Delhi–Nairobi: Now 4 weekly flights instead of 3, because nothing ruins safari planning like a long layover.

Fancier Planes, Finally!

Air India’s fleet refresh is actually happening (no, really). The first Boeing 787 with brand-new seats and entertainment systems rolls out in October 2025. As for the Boeing 777 upgrade? Well, that’s been postponed to early 2026, proving once again that if there’s one thing Boeing excels at, it’s delays.

A Few Routes Are Taking a Breather

  • Mumbai–Melbourne: Suspended from March 30 to September 13, 2025. Australians, try not to take it personally.
  • Kochi–London Gatwick: Paused indefinitely. But don’t worry—Amritsar, Ahmedabad, and Goa will still serve Gatwick with 12 weekly flights.

Air India’s Summer 2025 Expansion at a Glance

More flights across major international routes
New aircraft upgrades (better seats, better screens, same questionable airplane food)
Some temporary suspensions, but plenty of alternatives

So, if you’re flying Air India this summer, expect more travel options, shinier planes, and—if the airline gods are kind—a seatback screen that actually works.

Stockholm to Iceland Becomes Effortlessly Easy in 2025

Stockholm to Iceland Becomes Effortlessly Easy in 2025

Stockholm to Iceland Becomes Effortlessly Easy in 2025 : SAS Launches New Summer Route

More daylight, more adventure, and more chances to forget your raincoat

Great news for anyone who loves dramatic landscapes, boiling water shooting from the ground, and the thrill of mispronouncing “Eyjafjallajökull”—SAS is launching a seasonal route from Stockholm to Keflavik! From June 22 to August 11, 2025, you can hop on an overnight flight and wake up in a land where the sun never sets and your credit card fears the price of a beer.

Need help planning groups and incentives in Iceland? Contact this fantastic DMC.

Why You Should Care

Imagine this: You board in Stockholm, snooze a little (or not—who sleeps on planes anyway?), and land in Iceland ready to chase waterfalls, soak in steamy hot springs, and dramatically stare at glaciers while questioning all your life choices. Thanks to the midnight sun, you’ll have all the daylight to fit in every adventure—whether it’s hiking at 3 AM, exploring geysers before breakfast, or just wondering if you’ll ever adjust to a place where it never gets dark.

The Perks of This New Route

  • More Iceland for the Nordics! SAS already flies to Keflavik from Copenhagen and Oslo, and now it’s Stockholm’s turn to get a piece of the action.
  • Time-efficient travel! The overnight flight means you’ll touch down early, giving you a full day to explore… or at least to locate a strong Icelandic coffee.
  • Never-ending daylight! Alarms are pointless here—the sun refuses to let you sleep. Embrace it.

SAS VP Henrik Winell put it best: “We are pleased that our travellers can take full advantage of Iceland’s extended daylight hours while also benefiting from our convenient schedule.” Translation? Fly in, stay up forever, and see everything.

So, whether you’re after epic nature, Reykjavik’s surprisingly lively nightlife, or just a chance to wear all your wool sweaters in July, this route is for you. Just don’t forget your eye mask—and maybe start saving for those Icelandic beers now.

legal rights for mountain in New Zealand

New Zealand Just Gave a Mountain Legal Rights—Because Why Not in 2025?

New Zealand Just Made a Mountain a Legal Person. Your Move, Humanity.

Mountains don’t usually need lawyers, but New Zealand just gave one full legal rights anyway. Mount Taranaki, the towering beauty of the North Island, is now officially a person in the eyes of the law. Yep, a mountain. Meanwhile, some of us are still waiting for that email confirming our pizza delivery account. Life’s unfair.

Considering a group or incentive trip to New Zealand? Contact this amazing DMC for assistance!

Meet Mount Taranaki, Now With Legal Rights

For the Māori people, Mount Taranaki isn’t just a scenic backdrop for your Instagram—it’s an ancestor, a guardian, and a deeply sacred place. Thanks to a new law, it now has the same legal standing as a human being.

Of course, a mountain can’t exactly file lawsuits or vote in elections (although it would probably do a better job than most politicians), so a team—including four members of the local Māori community—will act as its voice. Essentially, Mount Taranaki now has spokespeople. Your pet rock? Still on its own.

A Mountain With a Legal Case

This isn’t just New Zealand being quirky (though they did invent bungee jumping, so anything’s possible). It’s actually about righting a historical wrong.

Back in the 18th century, British explorer James Cook sailed past Mount Taranaki, pointed at it, and said, “Mine now.” He renamed it Mount Egmont because, well, colonizers weren’t exactly known for their creativity. The Māori people, who had lived in harmony with the mountain for centuries, had their land taken away, their traditions banned, and their sacred peak turned into a playground for hikers and skiers.

Even after the 1840 Treaty of Waitangi technically promised Māori land rights, the agreement was about as respected as a “Do Not Touch” sign in a souvenir shop. It took decades of protests before Māori culture and land claims were finally acknowledged. By 1986, the mountain got its original name back, and in 2023, it officially ditched its colonial-era nickname. Now, with this new law, Mount Taranaki isn’t just back on the map—it’s back in charge.

So… Can the Mountain Arrest You Now?

Not quite. Despite its new legal status, Mount Taranaki isn’t going to start sending out court summons or demanding Wi-Fi. It’s still open for visitors, but the law ensures it gets the protection and respect it deserves.

As Māori leader Debbie Ngarewa-Packer put it, this legislation has freed the mountain from “the chains of injustice, ignorance, and hate.”

So, if you ever find yourself hiking up Mount Taranaki, maybe give it a respectful nod. After all, it’s legally a person now. And if it ever gets a social media account, it’s going to have one heck of a backstory.

Emirates Brings the ‘World Experience’ to Cairo With a New Store

Emirates Brings the amazing ‘World Experience’ to Cairo 2025

Emirates Brings the amazing ‘World Experience’ to Cairo With a New Store

Because booking flights should feel as luxurious as flying First Class

Emirates is at it again—this time bringing its Emirates World experience to Cairo with a brand-new luxury travel store at the swanky 5A WaterWay complex. Think of it as a high-end airline showroom meets VIP lounge, where you can plan your next trip without the stress of a glitchy website or hold music that lasts longer than your vacation.

This marks Emirates’ ninth World store worldwide and its latest move to take travel booking from “necessary evil” to “ooh, this is nice.” With Cairo’s store joining the lineup, travellers in Egypt now have a one-stop shop for flight bookings, itinerary planning, and an up-close look at Emirates’ signature inflight luxury.

Need assistance with groups and incentives in Egypt? Contact this amazing DMC.

More Than Just a Ticket Counter

This isn’t your average travel office with a stack of brochures and a stressed-out travel agent. The Emirates World store is 332 square meters of pure airline indulgence, featuring:

✈️ A life-size Emirates A380 Onboard Lounge replica, so you can pretend you’re sipping Champagne at 40,000 feet before you even book your ticket.

🛋️ A First Class suite display, perfect for convincing yourself (and your bank account) that an upgrade is definitely worth it.

💡 Nine customer service counters, staffed by Emirates experts ready to help with bookings, itinerary tweaks, or just to tell you which seat has the best legroom.

📸 A selfie mirror with dynamic destination backgrounds, because why wait until you land to flex on Instagram?

🖥️ Self-service kiosks, for those who prefer booking their flights with zero human interaction.

Grand Openings, Grander Guest List

The grand opening wasn’t just a ribbon-cutting affair—it was a full-on VIP gathering. Among those in attendance were Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, Mariam Al Kaabi, UAE Ambassador to Egypt, and Amr Kady, CEO of the Egypt Tourism Authority.

This new store is just another sign of Emirates’ commitment to Egypt, a country it has proudly served since 1986. With four daily flights to Cairo and over 10.6 million passengers flown, the airline has been a staple of Egypt’s skies for decades. Not to mention, Emirates has more than 920 Egyptian nationals working as cabin crew, proving that Egyptian hospitality extends far beyond the pyramids.

The Future of Booking Travel? It Looks a Lot Like This.

If this is what airline stores are turning into, don’t be surprised if your next “quick” trip to book a flight turns into a full-blown experience—complete with First Class daydreams, a selfie in front of the Eiffel Tower (even if you’re just flying to Dubai), and maybe even a newfound appreciation for interactive mirrors.

So, Cairo, next time you’re thinking about booking a trip, why settle for a boring online checkout when you can book your flight in style? Emirates just made trip planning a whole lot more glamorous.

Exciting New Expansion Plans for Vienna Airport 2025

Exciting New Expansion Plans for Vienna Airport 2025

Exciting New Expansion Plans for Vienna Airport 2025

Vienna Airport is at it again, making sure you have even more reasons to “accidentally” extend your stay in Austria. With a whopping 31.7 million passengers passing through in 2024 (a solid 7.4% increase from last year), the airport is stepping up its game with fresh routes—particularly to Southern Asia and beyond.

Need assistance with groups and incentives in Singapore? Contact this amazing DMC.

More Flights, More Excuses to Travel

Here’s what’s new in the world of Vienna departures:

  • A new route from Chengdu (CTU) for Hainan Airlines means Shenzhen (SZX) is back on the schedule and allows for the delicate balance of dim sums and dragon dances. Giant pandas, let’s go!
  • Annual tickets to Tokyo (NRT) are again available from All Nippon Airways. No one equipped with working taste buds should have layovers when premium sushi is Lovelace.
  • In June of 2025 Scoot, a low cost carrier of Singapore Airlines, will commence flights Singapore (SIN) thrice-weekly. Schnitzel farewell and satay hello.

But wait—there’s more! The Middle East and Europe are getting some love too:

  • SKY Express is bringing you four-times-weekly flights to Athens (ATH), because nothing says “tough decision” like choosing between the Austrian Alps and the Greek islands.
  • Air Arabia now connects Vienna to Sharjah (SHJ) four times a week, proving that spontaneous weekend getaways can span entire continents.
  • EasyJet is adding a daily Milan (MXP) route in March 2025, because fashion emergencies and espresso cravings wait for no one.

Bigger, Better, and Less Airport Chaos

With more people jetting in and out, Vienna Airport is also giving itself a glow-up—dropping €420 million (about $428 million) on a shiny new South Terminal expansion, set to debut in 2027. Expect:

  • Faster security checks (because no one enjoys the awkward one-legged shoe removal dance).
  • More spacious waiting areas (so you don’t have to fight for a spot next to the one available charger).
  • Upgraded dining and shopping options, because duty-free panic buys should always be top-tier.

Where Vienna Wants to Fly Next

Vienna has its eyes on some dreamy new destinations, and if you’ve been waiting for a direct flight, start manifesting now. Some of the airport’s wishlist routes include:

North America: Miami (MIA), San Francisco (SFO)  Asia-Pacific: Hanoi (HAN), Mumbai (BOM), Hong Kong (HKG), Phuket (HKT)  South America: São Paulo (GRU)  Middle East & Africa: Muscat (MCT), Nairobi (NBO) Europe: Bergen (BGO), Gdansk (GDN), Toulouse (TLS), Bordeaux (BOD)

The Future of Vienna Airport: More Flights, More Fun

On top of new flight paths, larger gates, and increasingly a long list of places to fly to, Vienna airport is becoming one of Europe’s busiest—and most thrilling—travel links. No matter if you are stepping on a plane, going out, or “accidentally” skipping your connecting flight so that you can enjoy another day of strudel and sightseeing, Vienna is prepared to make every trip a fun excursion like never before.

United Airlines Boosts Exciting Chicago Flights for Summer 2025

United Airlines Boosts Exciting Chicago Flights for Summer 2025

United Airlines Boosts Exciting Chicago Flights for Summer 2025: More Europe, More Sun, and… Montana?

United Airlines is cranking up the heat at Chicago O’Hare for summer 2025, adding more flights to Europe, bringing back Reykjavik, and—just to keep things interesting—launching service to Billings, Montana. Because when you think “bucket list summer destinations,” you obviously think of Athens, Barcelona, and… Big Sky Country.

Need assistance with groups and incentives in Europe? Contact one of these fantastic DMCs.

New Domestic Destinations (Yes, You Can Now Fly United to Montana)

Starting May 22, United will introduce daily flights to Ontario, California (ONT) and Billings, Montana (BIL). Ontario gets a Boeing 737-800, while Billings gets the Embraer E175, because nothing says “Montana adventure” like a cozy regional jet threading its way between herds of bison.

Meanwhile, United is also adding Halifax, Nova Scotia (YHZ) to the mix on May 24, with a weekly Embraer E175 service. If you’ve ever wanted to swap Chicago’s deep-dish pizza for a steaming plate of fresh Atlantic lobster, this is your moment.

Europe Is Calling: Bigger Planes, Earlier Departures, and More Legroom

Chicago travellers will have even more options to hop across the pond next summer, as United shuffles its European routes, upgrading aircraft and tweaking schedules to send even more passengers to the land of castles, cafes, and cobblestone streets. United Airlines Boosts Exciting Chicago Flights for Summer 2025

  • Athens – Service now kicks off on May 1 instead of later in the season, and it gets a Boeing 787-10 upgrade. More seats, more legroom, and more time for you to plan that perfect Santorini sunset photo.
  • Barcelona – United jumps the gun with an April 21 launch (10 days earlier than planned). It starts with a Boeing 787-10 before shifting to a 787-8 on May 1. More time for tapas? Yes, please.
  • Dublin – The trusty Boeing 757-200 gets the boot, making way for a 787-8 on March 29. Translation: smoother ride, better seats, and fewer elbow wars with your seatmate.
  • Milan Malpensa – Returns April 7, giving you ample time to sip espresso by the Duomo before the summer crowds take over.
  • Munich & Paris – A bit of an aircraft shuffle: Munich gets a smaller 787-8, while Paris scores a roomier 787-10. So, if you’re hoping to stretch out on your way to Oktoberfest… maybe book Paris instead?

Reykjavik is Back, Shannon Joins the Party

United is at it again with its love relationship with Reykjavik, chopping off one unscheduled Alaska Airlines flight per week during the summer months. Now, passengers using Chicago Airlines can rest easy because the Chicago– Iceland route is back with a Boeing 757-200. From May 19 to September 23, you can hike in a volcano, chase waterfalls, or just sit in a hot spring wondering where all the Vikings have gone.

Right before that on May 22, Shannon Ireland is getting an “SNN” seasonal return on a daily basis. If you have always wanted to kiss the blarney stone, roam about the castles, or sit down to enjoy a pint of Guinness, consider that checked off your list.

The Big Picture

United isn’t just adding flights—it’s making Chicago a serious contender for transatlantic travel dominance. With bigger aircraft, better schedules, and more European routes than ever, summer 2025 is looking pretty fantastic for Windy City jet-setters.

And if Europe’s not your thing, well… Montana is always an option.

Highlights United Airlines Boosts Exciting Chicago Flights for Summer 2025:

New routes to Billings, Montana & Ontario, California (because why not?) ✅ Halifax joins the party for a quick international getaway ✅ Athens, Barcelona & Dublin get more seats & earlier departures ✅ Reykjavik returns—hello, Northern Lights & hot springs! ✅ Shannon, Ireland is back—perfect for castle-hopping & Guinness-sipping ✅ Paris gets a bigger plane, Munich gets a smaller one—choose wisely! ✅ Summer 2025 = More flights, more Europe, more fun!

Effortless Travel Awaits: Thailand and UK Unveil Exciting ETA for 2025 Adventures

Effortless Travel Awaits: Thailand and UK Unveil Exciting ETA for 2025 Adventures

Grab your passport (and maybe an extra battery pack for your phone) because travel just got a digital upgrade. Both Thailand and the UK are giving visa-free travel the boot and rolling out shiny new Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) systems. Think of it as the VIP pass of global entry—convenient, streamlined, and a tad more official than your usual airport selfies.

If you’ve been breezing through countries like Indonesia, Brazil, or Australia with nothing more than a boarding pass and a sunny disposition, those carefree days are winding down. Let’s break down why Thailand and the UK are hopping on the ETA bandwagon—and what that means for your travel plans.

Got groups and incentives in Thailand on your radar? We’ve got your back.

Thailand: Paradise with a Digital Twist

Ah, Thailand—the land of golden temples, spicy street food, and now, a streamlined immigration process. Starting November 6, 2024, travellers from 93 countries will need to snag an ETA before stepping onto Thai soil. But don’t panic—this isn’t as daunting as it sounds. The goal? Shorter immigration lines, smoother border control, and no more fumbling through your carry-on for a visa-on-arrival form.

The Good News:
Thailand hasn’t slapped a fee on its ETA just yet (and fingers crossed it stays that way). That means this might be one of the rare upgrades in life that doesn’t come with a surprise bill. It’s just a quick online form, and voilà—you’re all set to enjoy your piña colada on the beach.

The Better News:
If you’re from Laos, Cambodia, or Malaysia, you’re off the hook entirely. Same goes for long-term visa holders and diplomats. The rest of us? Time to get cosy with the digital age and submit that application.

With this new system, Thailand is rolling out the welcome mat while making security just a tad tighter. Whether you’re chasing the buzz of Bangkok or the tranquillity of Krabi, your trip will be smoother than a tuk-tuk ride through the city.

The UK: Post-Brexit Glow-Up

Over in the UK, things are getting an ETA makeover of their own. As part of its post-Brexit border shake-up, the UK is rolling out its ETA for just about everyone—even Europeans who used to waltz in visa-free. Starting January 8, 2025, Singaporeans and other non-European visitors will need an ETA. Then, come April 2, 2025, it’s Europe’s turn to join the fun.

What It Costs:
For a mere £10 (around $13.20), your UK ETA is valid for two years and allows unlimited entries. So whether you’re off to snap a selfie with Big Ben, sip tea in a London café, or squeeze in a quick business meeting, the ETA’s got your back.

Why It Matters:
The UK is playing a balancing act—tighter borders on one hand, smoother travel experiences on the other. Efficiency is the name of the game, and with an ETA in your pocket, you’ll breeze through immigration faster than you can say “fish and chips.”

Why the ETA Buzz?

Thailand and the UK aren’t alone in this digital migration. They’re joining countries like Australia, Egypt, and Brazil in ditching the old visa-free routine. It’s all about smarter, safer tourism. Governments want to know who’s coming before they arrive—and hey, it beats scrambling to fill out paperwork at the airport.

What’s In It for You?

  • Convenience: Apply online in a few clicks—no more visa-on-arrival chaos.
  • Cost: Thailand’s ETA is free (for now), and the UK’s costs less than that artisan latte you splurge on.
  • Multiple Entries: Both systems let you pop back for seconds—or thirds—without the extra hassle.

Effortless Travel awaits

So, what’s the takeaway? Brush up on your Thai (“sawasdee”) and your British slang (“cheers, mate”) because 2025 is looking like the year of stress-free travel. Whether you’re soaking up the sun in Thailand or strolling the cobblestones of the UK, your ETA is your golden ticket to modern travel. Safe journeys, smooth borders, and fewer surprises at immigration—now that’s something worth raising a glass to!

Ryanair Takes the Wheel with New Routes and Extra Planes

Starting from the summer of 2025, Ryanair will begin flying five new routes from Bratislava, and I am positive the sun lovers will appreciate this. Additionally, these destinations are not random, and might actually be on the summer wishlist which include areas such as Gdansk, Bari, Zadar, Skiathos, and Milan Malpensa. Also, can we get a Mediterranean beach please?

In a shocking turn of events, the airline Ryanair seems to be opening more aircraft options which can only signal good things for tourists hoping to visit the beautiful regions in Bratislava. Ryanair confirms that in about a months time, they will have two additional planes in their fleet. But it’s not just the planes, they are planning on increasing the airport capacity by 25%, and the best part is this will help generate around 1000 jobs and create a great deal of joy with 90 high paying aviation jobs. Ladies and gentlemen, there is only one way to say this, but Bratislava has officially made it’s mark on the world.

Norwegian Airlines Brings the Nordic Cool Back

Missed the chill vibes of Scandinavia? Norwegian Airlines is bringing back its direct route to Copenhagen starting June 28, 2025—10 years after it was last in the air. Why? Because Slovaks have been itching for that Nordic experience. With two flights per week on Tuesdays and Saturdays, you can now pop over for some hygge and maybe a little Viking flair.

Pegasus Airlines Adds More Sweet Spots to the List

If you’ve ever flown with Pegasus, you know they’ve got the budget-friendly magic down. Well, get ready for even more options! The low-cost carrier is doubling down on its presence at Bratislava with routes to places like Istanbul, Milan, London, Hurghada, and Skopje. Oh, and let’s not forget Antalya—still flying strong after it became a local favourite last year. Pegasus is basically your golden ticket to affordable European and beyond adventures.

Bratislava’s Skyrocketing Growth

In 2024, almost 2 million passengers flew in and out of Bratislava. That’s pretty impressive, right? Well, with these exciting new routes, 2025 is shaping up to break that record in a big way. Plus, the Slovak government is all in with its National Aviation Strategy, which means more tourists, more business, and more reasons to celebrate. Basically, Slovakia’s future in aviation looks pretty darn bright.

Bratislava Airport: Europe’s New Favourite Hub

With destinations like Bari, Zadar, and Gdansk on the radar, Bratislava is quickly becoming the go-to gateway for European exploration. Plus, with connections to Istanbul, Antalya, and London, it’s not just about Europe—it’s about traveling beyond, too. As the airport grows, it’s shaping up to be the perfect alternative to Vienna’s busy terminals. Time to swap that overpriced Vienna ticket for one of Bratislava’s sweet deals!
