As the Paris 2024 Olympics came to a close, Delta Air Lines, which serves as an official airline for Team USA, played a significant role in the transfer of Olympic flag during the handover ceremony. The flag was taken from Paris to Los Angeles on flight DL291 through a specially decorated LA28 aircraft; an Airbus A350 with registration N522DZ. This flight heralds the beginning of Los Angeles’ tenure as host city for the 2028 Olympics and will see the Games return to America since 2002.
