Here are a few highlights to share
Amalfi
Amalfi and the Amalfi coast are a must see in Italy. You will find this jewel in Campania, Italy. The town’s traditions and historical buildings bear witness to Amalfi’s glorious past.
Capri
Who has not heard of Capri? It is famous as a playground for the wealthy and synonymous to classy and glitzy. In other words, it is a beautiful holiday destination. Think dreamy seaviews, of 1950s celebrities in big sunglasses and of lazy summer evenings spent browsing in exclusive boutiques.
Florence
Every corner of the center of Florence takes you back in time. The famous towers built centuries ago, its rich history and astounding beauty – the list is endless. From the stunning Michelangelo’s David to the breathtaking Uffizi, from colourful markets to elegant designer stores, you will find yourself mesmerised by Florentine life, where nothing much seems to have changed since the days of the Medici.
Rome
It’s hard to describe Rome in a few words; a city so vast and rich in art, monuments and exquisite views, a historic city, which has preserved its charm and independence throughout the centuries. Nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is simply breathtaking.
Rome’s history can be read in every monument, and palazzo; in fact, each and every stone bears witness to the periods of splendour, decay, wars, and numerous architectural styles. One of the seven hills on which Rome was built and where most of the Roman archaeological treasures were found. The city extended over six other hills: Quirinale, Viminale, Esquilino, Celio, Aventino and Capitolino.
Sicily
Sicilia, the island in the sun, is home to the best beaches, crumbling old towns filled with gorgeous houses, little town squares, majestic mountains and Europe’s greatest natural wonder, Mount Etna. Sicily’s coasts are gold with orange and lemon orchards. In North Eeastern Sicily you’ll find lush forests. In the central regions you’ll encounter rugged land and rolling hills. Dignified vineyards, ancient olive groves, hardy almond orchards and endless wheat fields complete the picture. Summer is amber land under a sky of blue. Winter finds palm trees dusted with snow in a surreal symphony. Spring is a rainbow of wild flowers set against greenest fields…
Sorento
Sorrento is situated on a plain above the sea, overlooking the Bay of Naples. The view from Sorrento stretches back to the north, encompassing Vesuvius, the city of Naples, and the island of Ischia. It has a pretty old town, a harbour with ferry departures to Capri, Amalfi and Naples, and is within easy reach of the Amalfi Coast, Pompei, Herculaneum and the city of Naples. There is some good walking in the peninsula, and plenty of restaurants and bars for the less energetic.
Tuscany
Tuscany is a living painting. The beautiful cypresses are everywhere and their eternal greenness is offset by the ochre farmhouses and villas dotted in the landscape. It is home to possibly the greatest art collector of the world, from extraordinary paintings and sculpture to frescoes and architectural masterpieces.
